I might try it tomorrow to see how it works compared to the other one.

Thank you for reminding this alternative!

QUOTE (jaclaz @ Jan 27 2009, 03:26 AM) *
Office 4.3 is rather smallish and works very well. (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)
Almost the same can be said about Office 97. (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)
Office 2000 is just 97 revamped. (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
2002 or XP office is 2000 bloated. (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
2003 is 2000 bloated and more bloated. (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)
2007 is 2003 bloated, more bloated and worsened. (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/ranting2.gif)

I agree. I'm still using Office 2000! Primarily because there isn't any new feature in a newer version that I would like and so upgrade. Office 2000 works well with documents containing multiple languages, unicode right-to-left orthography, etc. Only thing missing is really OpenType ligature support (requiring macros to instead generate correct glyphs) but then this is still the case with 2007, and the main reason I haven't yet upgraded.

Regards,
Galapo.
