Cu părere de rău Operatorul meu de internet nu ofera suport pentru acest modem sub sistemele de operare
Linux

Testetat cu Ubuntu 9.10 live CD

1. Primul pas conectati Modemul din nou

El va fi detectat ca CD-ROM vezi �n Places - >File Browser
va aparea places-> ca CD-ROM ->Orange internet

2.click unmount (in caz daca aţi intrat pe CD-ROM(Orange Internet)
apoi click eject ( CD-ROMul va disparea)

�n caz dacă nu se conectează din prima, scoateti modemul din portul USB si il conectati din nou, asteptati un pic pina se aprinde beculetu rosu apoi devine albastra/verde - ar trebui sa se conecteze automat

3. Deschideţi Terminalu, apoi in terminal tastaţi comanda -> lsusb

Exemplu
ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ lsusb
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 003 Device 006: ID 0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle (HCI mode)
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 001 Device 008: ID 19d2:0031 ONDA Communication S.p.A.
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub


4. apoi tastaţi aceasta comanda pentru ca Sistemul de operare sa-l detectateze ca modem

modprobe usbserial vendor=0x19d2 product=0x0031

5. Din meniul System - > Preferences-> Network Connection->
Mobile Broadband-> add-> alegeşi tara->alegeţi operatorul-> Orange->Select plan
-> Internet-> apply

Seletam din meniul System - > Preferences-> Network Connection

nu este obligatoriu ca sa introduceti parola si numele

Varianta scurta de conectare
Ubuntu 9.10 live CD

apoi asteptati pina beculetul modemului se va aprinde de la inceput in
rosu, apoi albastru

3. in coltul drept de sus (unde scrie ubuntu), iconita ce simbolizeaza antena GSM (Network)
selectam -> new mobile Broadband(GSM) connection*

ea nu va aparea indata va trebui sa-astepati un pic 10~20 secunde

4-> selectati Operatorul(Orange), apoi planul de conectare ( Internet),
apoi apply ( conexiunea a fost creata)

5. apoi din aceeasi bara selectai Internet Orange

navigati cu placere.

Uneori nu lucreza Firefox chiar dacă conexiunea a fost create cu succes, va trebui sa restartati Ubuntu si sa repetati procedura de conectare din nou
