Whenever i enter the forums I find a large number of visitors in VistaPe Section (IMG:http://www.boot-land.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif) ..
my question what make VistaPe so popular,

once i had a chance to download ready to use vistape iso file some where in the net,
after first test in virtualpc >> [Shift]+[Del] (IMG:http://www.boot-land.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

does it offer more capabilities over other projects or what ?

Thanks

New name for WinXPE/WindowsXPE project
Hi

QUOTE (Nuno Brito @ Aug 10 2007, 05:11 PM) *
Hi H7se!

Nice release - haven't (yet) tested, but I would recommend changing the name to something else that avoided possible legal issues..

Windows XPE is a very problematic name and people might not even understand exactly what your project is..

Windows --> trademark from Microsoft
XPE --> confuses people with the original XPE from sherpya
Windows XPe --> is also Windows XP embedded version from Microsoft

It's fine for our community development talks - but if you would like for more people to use it and to be shared in the public domain then it should really use anything preferably without "Windows" and "XPE" (also a good idea to stand out from this crowd anyways..)

Just an opinion, because a good name can really help your project! (IMG:http://www.boot-land.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

How about a poll in the vote! section?

Let me do a suggestion:

XPE should be in the name because Sherpya's original is used completely (?).

Why not 'WBXPE' ?

And I personally like the 'X' extended to 'ex':
'WBexPE'

Peter

i like to call it "WBXPE" , what do you think ?
