i have build a VistaPE v11 with grub4dos as bootmanager and boot from a USB.
Is it easy to boot LiveXP_RAM.iso from the USB also by changing some code so that i can choose to boot from either? and how do i do that?

I need to create a Recovery & Diagnostics USB toolkits for my exercise project. Thus i would need to choose from either LiveXP or VistaPE project and give supporting arguements why i choose it. Another option is to do a multi-booting so that i can boot from either, but i need to also justified whether is it necessary.
Hence, is there any difference between LiveXP and VistaPE? Is LiveXp enough to work for both XP and Vista OS? and vice versa?
I currently have both XP and Vista Stations that i can work on as well as a 1gb USB thumb drive.
Also i need to find out what are the good Recovery as well as forensics tools that i can add into the project? so any suggestion?
Any reply or links that i can look into would be appreciated.

i follow the instruction from the Newcomer's Tutorial, downloaded the lx101408min to create a liveXP and want to boot it from a USB thumbdrive.
the winbuilder successfully build the LiveXP_RAM and i test it with virtualBox and it is able to run. However i could not get it to work on USB. i downloaded the PEtoUSB tool and use it format my USB, also modify the ntdetect.com in the root directory. i also change my BIOS setting to boot from USB Device first. am i missing some step anywhere?
i am using:
scandisk cruzer 1 GB USB device
Phoenix Rom BIOS PLUS
OS is Windows Vista Business
using Window XP SP2 for the project.
Thanks and Help appreciated.
