I thought that one has to use a special patched grub version to display gfx splashimages ... what version of gfx-grub did you use?

when i use Gfxmenu Files , i can't go to commandline by pressing "C" .

Also other keys like "E" (used for editing menu entry ) don't work.

Is there any solution?

Thanks to the OP.

Managed to get a basic gfxmenu working with g4d. Where could I get more information about the more advanced features ? For eg., if I want to use another (smaller) font. Or, get animation working as in the included examples. If the OP could give some details that would be nice.

I tried dragging some of the .GFX files to the GFXMenu app but the created folders do not have the gfxboot.cfg used.

btw : like many others I use Windows.

In what way is a .jpg image created with GIMP, different from one created by say PShop ? I tried jpegcleaner to strip the meta data in a jpg, did not help. What I should be asking for is the 'spec' of the jpg, I suppose.
