Just a question, in my country we don't have numbers next to the small people, what are they used for? (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

I beg to differ. (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Since the OS behind the traffic light management was designed by the good MS guys, they use Imperial but (in order to make the perception more intuitive (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/happy22.gif) ) they re-used the code they used in Excel to dimension width and height of cells:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/214123/en-us
using of course their own inches as in PowerPoint:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/189826/en-us
basically, once corrected the inches to MS inches, and converted all into millimeters with a routine like this:
http://www.erlandsendata.no/english/index....nvbawssetrowcol
you have to multiply it for the length of your legs and divide by a factor K, which is inversally proportional to the material your soles are made of, proportionally reduced by a factor W relative to the condition of the pavement which assumes values:
QUOTE
1 = Dry
0.5= Wet
0.01= Snow/Ice

In other words several Murphy's Laws apply:
QUOTE
Being dead right doesn't make you any less dead.

QUOTE
The largest vehicle always has the right of way.

Using several antigravitory cats attached to your shoes to just levitate over the crossing may be the only solution, but the theory is still LARGELY experimental:

I really don't know, as I googled for the picture.

Jacklaz,
I tried to persuade my cat to cooperate with my car's engine in the name of science (i want to make a flying vehicle), but the cat didn't agree with.
I explained thoroughly the equations to the cat, then I threw the rustic animal on the hot engine with a toast, but it miaowed and disappeared without any reason.

I took a photo

You should actually READ the given links before attempting senseless experiments (possibly harming a poor little furry creature).

Orange Cats are a NO-NO:

yes, it could be a nice wallpaper, but explain to everyone who looks at it, that it is a photoshop job. Don't get any virago old woman screeming that you burnt a cat! (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/hyper.gif)
