Last weeks I worked a lot with ctmag.

He has been my current main tester / requestor / suggestor, invisible for the forum, because we mainly used e-mail
(BTW: Many thanks here thumbup.gif )

And we fell into a wodoo.gif issue.

The GUI on his PC reacts different from the GUI on my PC.

Therefore this poll:

Please copy the attached script into any of your projects, open it, look, and vote.
Do not forget to backup your original script.project before!
If you do not see a scroll bar, ok.

If you see a scroll bar, please post here:

OS / service pack
graphic card
desktop theme
screensaver
screen resolution pixel *pixel
screen color depth
screen sensitivity 96 / 120 / ??? DPI

For experienced users:
Please decrease the x offset of the logo by an external editor, until the scroll bar disappears.
Post that offset here.

Thanks

Peter

Yes i see scroll on right smile.gif , i guess you not surprised

But i am surprised that you get interested in this,
I reported much before that unseen scrolls (on right and on bottom) began to be seen in rare scripts after some version, and you replied sth like "what you make in gui should be in area of interface section", than i didnt post more as i dont long anymore minor things.

OS / service pack - 2k3sp2x64
graphic card - nvidia 8500gt
desktop theme - winclassic
screensaver - NONE
screen resolution pixel *pixel - 1280x1024
screen color depth - 32bit
screen sensitivity 96 / 120 / ??? DPI - 96

EDIT by psc: Works with
pImage3=logo.bmp,1,5,209,246,306,69

not asked but i made another trial to see the right limit of the example script:
[Interface]
pImage3=logo.bmp,1,5,225,246,306,69

ps: sorry psc, my mistake not to edit, if you like delete last 3 lines i added.

Recommended steps to build LiveXP:
1) Download suitable WinBuilder.exe from here and run it;
2) Update through the Download Center by clicking the 'Download' button; and
3) Then build LiveXP by pressing the 'Play' button.

You should not be surprised. I'm ALWAYS interested in issues improving WinBuilder.
But sometimes I need a chair.gif

And if you (usually you do so) write something like 'just an idea' or 'not so important': Due to the amount of 'important' things I have to do here, I very fast will forget your post.

In the future: Do not go 'back' and if you think that something is important, tell us!
And, if like in the above sample, your post is decreased in my mind to 'nothing', increase it to 'important' again by a new post!
I'm not Mister God and can fail!

This works nice
[Interface]
pImage3=logo.bmp,1,5,209,246,306,69

when 247, scroll on right appears

not asked but i made another trial to see the right limit of the example script:
[Interface]
pImage3=logo.bmp,1,5,225,246,306,69

And i found the time i reported scrollbar
(post 414 - 415)
http://www.boot-land.net/forums/index.php?...ost&p=43851

and, maybe it is a proof of not pm but put in a topic to remember later.

Here is the script (not fixed and should not be used in current livexp for now, use only for gui testing purpose)

Many Thanks, Lancelot! thumbup.gif

Hewre we have ONE pixel!

I edited your first post and inserted the information of your last post.
Question:
Are you not privileged to edit your own post here?
That should be changed.

To hold this topic clear, I would like to not see your last post with some OFFTOPIC contents here. Can you repost / move it to a suited forum? If not, I'll do so.

Pete

Don't know if you still care. I see a scrollbar too.

XPSP1
ATI Radeon
Classic Theme
no screensaver
screen resolution 1024x768
screen color depth 32 bit
screen sensitivity 96 DPI

For experienced users:
Please decrease the x offset of the logo by an external editor, until the scroll bar disappears.
Post that offset here.

Offset is 246 pixel
