Hey all, I done some searching but could not find a solution to the problem I am experiencing...

Basically I am running WinBuilder 075 Beta 5L, Windows XP 64 Host, Windows Server 2003 R2 Source.

I have tried to build both XP Live and nativeEX but the build halts at the same point in each project.

CODE
Run - Processed section [CopyToTarget] in file: [%BaseDir%\Projects\LiveXP\Basic\Build\3 - hivesFactory.Script]
FileRename - Failed to rename file: [%BaseDir%\Workbench\livexp\Cache\Prebuild\TxtSetup.sif_cpy.Script.txt] to:[%BaseDir%\Workbench\livexp\Cache\Prebuild\hojoPE-FontsNls0409.Script.txt]

I guess I am over my attachment limit (now 1000K ?) so I have posted the file on my website:
Log File

Thanks all,
Michael

Can you delete complete %BaseDir%\Workbench\ and %BaseDir%\Temp\ and try again?

Thanks, that shows the primary issue.

I tried on my system (32 bit xp) with W2003-R2-English and had no problems.

I hope that it is not an 64 bit issue.

Do you have a 32 bit xp machine to test?

Same error on the Windows XP SP2 Host machine.
Tried it again on XP x64 Host with Windows XP SP2 Source with same results.

Also, the file %BaseDir%\Workbench\nativeEx_barebone_075\Cache\Prebuild\TxtSetup.sif_cpy.Script.txt never gets created which is why the FileRename error occurs.

Error from Windows XP SP2 Host:

Sure. HoJoPE did not finish to create it.

But why crashes HoJoPE on your machine and not on mine?
To be sure, can you download and try the today's nightly from my signature.
That is the project I used.

Maybe there is something wrong with your source?
Do you use a CD or a copy?
Do you have a different source available?

Okay - I figured out the problem.

When I download a version of Winbuilder I create a new directory for it.

Winbuilder.075m
Winbuilder.075o
etc.

Well, the period in the folder name is causing HoJoPE to crash for some reason.
I renamed one of the folders to Winbuilder and it started working without the error!

Many thanks! (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/1st.gif)

I'll try to have a look into HoJoPE to fix that.

But I think, as the issue is recognized noe, it can wait until the release of WB 076.

Just to not forget it: Can you make an entry into the bugtracker > nativeEx about this issue?

Thanks

Peter
