Hi guys,
I think it's working, but not what I was after. I played around with it some more and did see the shellvm was changing the look of the individual top windows bar, but not the taskbar. What I was after was the taskbar & start button theme.
It is possible to make the "classic" start button and taskbar look like the normal themed start button isn't it?
Thanks for everyone's help!

hi,i'm a a complete newbie with this program and probably what i will say is wrong or not possible in winbuilder but i know that keys in registry editor for style in start button and taskbar are here:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ThemeManager
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ThemeManager
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ThemeManager

and here
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes]

and msstyles are in:
c:\windows\Resources\Themes\

there's a way to integrate that folder and that key in registry editor of livexp to have finally a complete windows style ?

sorry for my bad english rolleyes.gif

More than likely. Someone just has to have the time and inclination to do it.

Recommended steps to build LiveXP:
1) Download suitable WinBuilder.exe from here and run it;
2) Update through the Download Center by clicking the 'Download' button; and
3) Then build LiveXP by pressing the 'Play' button.

If memory serves well, themes do not work because of something with M$GINA / not working security.
Maybe someone knows exactly?
