Hello there.
I'm sure that you have already assisted on removing "Press any key to boot from CD" message somewhere sometime. I've been looking for that thread on this forum, but haven't found one. I've missed it I guess. Sry for that. I'll be rude enough to ask you again.

Please...
I've made LiveXP CD from LiveXPRescue compilation. "Press any key..." message bugs me 'cause I miss to pres a key often. When I want to start working I find out that wrong OS i booted. That takes time and nerves. I won't live forever anyway. Please tell me how to surpress it, if there is a way.
Thx

The option is there on the 'Define Fundamentals' script interface.

At a "lower" level (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) , the "culprit" is the file BOOTFIX.BIN, if you remove the file, there will be no prompt.

That was the reason I introduced this option long time ago.

In my test I often forgot to remove the CD.
And when rebooting I came into nativeEx, which is nice, but unwanted in this case.

We could poll whether this option should be on or off in 'factory settings' (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
