hello,

this is my first post.

I finished my VistaPE-CD. Great. But I can't get online. Not in Virtualbox or Vmware, not when booting the "real CD".........

The network does not work. I am using Winbuilder 074 with VistaPE v. 11.

After some time there comes the message: "wpeinit finished... you can now try using the network".... but also when starting "penet config" it does not work...

I attached you some pics (screenshots!) hoping that somebody can help me....

ps: is it possible that my network-card isn't recognized? But I tried it with virtualbox, vmware and two different real systems.... and in Winbuilders section "Extended Configuration" I selected
"DRIVERS PACK: BOTH (SATA+LAN)".......... so I thought that LAN-drivers were implemented???

thank you

make sure you do not touch the mouse and keyboard during boot, the current version skips some steps in hardware detection when you click or press any key

Ok... just one moment... I will try this...........

edit: No.... that wasn't the solution.... didn't touch mouse or keyboard... same thing....

I think none of my network cards are recognized... is there a special thing to add f.e. lan-drivers?
I thought that all general lan-drivers were added with the "extented configuration"-script???

please try again vmware (the vmware network card is supported) and select (in the interface of the vmware script in wb) "ethernet mode bridged"

then start the script by clicking the green play button

This has to work, or something is ver wrong here...

also please tell me if you are building from a vista dvd (is it sp0 or sp1) or if you are building from waik
