Retested using NativeEx it appears to work. Must be something I did when testing with LiveXP.

A bug report from saydin77

i never use SaveBase.Script (or restore) , but looking inside the script i can confirm saydin77's findings.
here they are:
"use current build" works properly
but
"use predefined standard build" cause errors
also
in [do-list] section this fixes needed regedit -> regedit-api , taskman -> taskman-api
and
there are path changes for qEmuNIC_RTL8139, UniversalVideoDriver,VirtualBoxNIC_AMD_PCNET ...
and
2 variables dont work properly %PE_Programs% + (saydin77 dont remember the 2nd one)

and when restorebase used, the things that should be in "program files" are in basedir. (or restorebase.script directory)

I've never used the predefined option. Since the script is from nativeEx, it would need updating to work without errors in LiveXP with different folder structure, script names, etc.

Just use it manually and there should be no problem -- just have to set mandatory scripts off so that they can be disabled.

Regards,
Galapo.

Suggestion to all x64 users:
  • Offer your PC at ebay.
I'm sure you'll get a good price, because there are enough fools thinking that they need it.
  • Buy a good old x32 at ebay.
I'm sure you'll get it for good price, because there are enough fools thinking that they do not need it any more.
Seriously:

I would like to help and take your issue into the debugger.
But I only have x86-32. And just to buy 64 for 'playground' is too expensive for me.

Maybe I can give some help, if you 'eccessevely' explain the environment (no links please! cheers.gif )

That's right. I made a mistake in msi.script. Too used to writing 'ProgramFiles' rather than 'programfiles' I guess.

Should now be fixed.

Here is audio driver for Virtualbox,

i dont use virtualbox, but kare use virtualbox. smile.gif

With virtualbox when one tries to add sounddrivers by using dps_sound packages, dipe finds viny_ac97 sound driver, and installs. But this does not work.
Kare found out that ibm_ac97 sound driver needed, so here it is.

http://lancelot.winbuilder.net/5F_scriptsl..._VirtualBox.rar

As there is another driver (viny_ac97) i try to put virtualbox driver as a driverforge script, but driverforge doesnt work with this driver, use dipe to install the driver. I guess there needs to be made a fix for this driver for driverforge to work with (any help would be appreciated).

Anyway, i hope virtualbox users are more happy with audio now smile.gif. "Virtualbox audio setting" is in the picture of the script. Also works nicely with "portable virtualbox".

Hi Lancelot,

Thanks for the information. I used it to create a script for the driver, which I've uploaded to the LiveXP server.

Galapo.

* 4 - BuildModel.Script --->"Do not refresh shotcut" ->i guess it was unselected in livexp
* look the attachment, maybe you like the idea of putting audio setting picture for this script

MedEvil
nope, sound dont work in my trials when ac97 selected as sound. I dont know how virtualbox reacts with other settings, i follow kare's founding, verify, and post here with asking kare.
