Ok, when I install xp on my pc i'm not able to go on the internet without the driver but if i put in a livecd i'm able to. Why is that and is there a program out there where it will automaticlly do the same thing for any kind of hardware I have? I hope you can understand that.

Have you already tried out driverpacks? (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Peter has also made available a tool to get the network drivers that work on your hardware, look on the nativeEx subforum. (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Maybe Nuno brought you to read a lot of useful posts, but the tool he was thinking of, is not there! (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

You find it in the subforum 'Submit Your Program' and it is entitled 'myNIC'

Good luck!

Peter

There is no magic, the LiveCD simply contains a bunch/ alot of drivers, that's it.
With some tools like nLite you can add additional drivers to your XP installationCD too.
And if you put all the drivers for all your hardware into your InstallCD then XP will also be able to connect to the web and use all hardware right from the start.
