But why was an umbrella choosen as icon? What has a virtual disk to do with an umbrella?

It is the first icon in ImDisk.cpl.

It was a quick decition when I built the Control Panel applet. An icon is needed for a Control Panel applet to be visible in the Control Panel and it was a rainy day so... (IMG:http://www.boot-land.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) But actually the was no better reason than that and I think I will take the icon suggested in the 911-cd forum as the main ImDisk icon in the next release.

Why not stay on this unusual icon?

If there e.g would be an rather unimportant text processing app with a notepad icon, nobody would remember the app.
But if this app has e.g. a calculator icon, there would be many people remembering that.

For the record, the Avira antivir Anti-virus:
http://www.free-av.com/
already uses a small umbrella as it's icon in the tray, so some confusion may be made, and finding a distinctive icon is a "plus" for this great program.

Clicked thread due to the Time Lord references. (IMG:http://www.boot-land.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I was going to post it but since it already has, I stand defeated. =/

For God sakes, use B! o_O

It looks like a mini CD from that defective PSP fad on YTMND.
