Hi (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

i've checked all service did'nt start and checked dependencys with process mon etc..... and compared with original vista (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

So my finish is trying to fix a lot of services. nla, server, browser, etc.......

at least i nearly finshed the sharing problem. first step i finished integrations (lanmanserver+dependency's) to starting up (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
so now you can share all drive root's (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) so you can start over penetcfg. i use for my testings virtualbox (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) you see that in the attachments

second step i try integration to context menu. this is in the moment outstanding.

so if i checked my steps i will create a script an let you know (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

but now you've w8 a little bit. i've to go sleeping and then going to work (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

regards steel

Hi steel,

... eagerly waiting!

Here is my error trying to start the Server Service...

Did you have a similar error that you have overcome? Just wondering because I'm trying to build from expired Vista RC1.

How did you get it started?

Hi Alla (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

no the errors are still nearly the same.
I only checked local regestry entrys lanmanserver + legacy_lanman + svchost.there you see few sys+dll files needing. srv.sys, srv2.sys, srvnet.sys, netman.dll, .........
then i checked the dependencys of the service.
if you start your vistape after integration you try start and debug this with "process Monitoring" (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) you can see all file+regestry handles he's trying to start the service. (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

In the moment i try intregration the share function into the context menu then i will upload the script (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

regards

steel

steel,

Thanks for the tips. I'm not having much success though. I'm trying to get Telephony Service happening for a Broadband Modem.

Good luck with the context menu.
