Some clarifications needed:
1) Using the /NOLICPROMPT parameter is NOT a way to avoid reading and agreeing to the License, it is simply a switch used to avoid a couple clicks and for "unattended" installs. It is assumed that anyone using that switch already read and agreed upon the contents of the License.
2) The switch is reported to be not working starting from BGInfo 4.10:

@steelbone
Please post details on the version you used this .script snippet with.

@jaclaz: did you test it yourself??

so i please you to test it.

i've manually load the bginfo.exe from sysinternals and load this without license aggrements.

this switch actually ist available in the version 4.10.

look theres the script from booty. i only modified his script with the avoiding.
this script automaticly load the source down and use a template for applying.

so at least you can push following regestry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sysinternals\bginfo

generate there a new reg_dword with "EulaAccepted" value="1"

so i don't know why anybody has there troubles ;9

i've no troubles with bginfo old or new version. with bootys auto script or manually commanline version (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

so at least 2 solutions for avoiding: regestry hack or the switch. both i've tested.

so regards

steel

No, I do not use BGInfo, as I prefer other software:

I never said that anyone had troubles (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) , because there is the report that I linked to, I wanted to make sure that the version on which you tested it was explicited.

This is the normality, anyone publishing something related to a certain app, should explicitly mention the version of the app with which the whatever he published was tested.

Yep, and a reference to booty#1 and a link to his original .script would have been appreciated, you see (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) , we have a Catch22 situation here (IMG:../forums/style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif) :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catch-22_(logic)
the utility for a newbie of your original [How to] is near to none, and only newbies need to read [How to]'s
