QUOTE (dera @ Sep 26 2007, 05:44 AM) *
I get this bootscreen at my first build booting into a normal bartPEcore.iso
(it is a clean project)

the 'run windows from RAM' method works fine

the same result with BcdwPE
at 'normal PE from CD' get this screen too
the 'in ram' method works ok

Any suggestion?

a quick work around for me is the createmultibootiso.script and boot.script with bcdw.ini in a folder

\BartPECore\Images to be able to quickly edit the bcdw menu before build

bcdw.ini code:

Not your fault!
thunn removed the tag file without replacing it by other means, now PE does not recognize your CD anymore.

Many Thanks MedEvil!

Now my CD can boot successfully.

I added all the lines of the sections:
[SourceDisksNames]
[SourceDisksNames.x86]
[Strings]

(and added the two blank files WIN51IP and WIN51IP.SP2 to the CD root)

Exactly what lines needed in txtsetup.sif?

All that is needed is
a file called Boot in the root of your CD
and the following line in your txtsetup.sif

[SourceDisksNames.x86]
1="Boot Disk","\BOOT",,\i386

I bolded Boot for you to see how those two are connected. You can of course also use any other name you like.

carfan,
I like how you used the cdimage script, for it's intended purpose. ( attached above as CreateMultiBootISO.script. ).

In create bcdwpe, you can check 'pause before final iso creation' ( for editing bcdw.ini ). Make sure 'delete MultiTarget after iso creation' is unchecked. Many weblinks for info. and tutorials are there too.

New project uploaded, many changes are included, the project was tested under xp sp2 using xp sp2 & xp sp3 sources. It should not produce any errors.

With regard to the boot tag, I added an option in the txtsetup reduction script to include an empty 'boot' cd tag file which is intended for windows setup, but not really needed for just pe.
Flexability is a big plus though, thanx for the thoughts.

A changelog has been added to the 1st post.
I hope everyone enjoys the updates.
