Running Build071 Beta7 (the only version that works for me all other versions don't display correctly) on Windows XP sp2 also tried on Server 2003 sp2
Attached screen shot of QEMU and log files for Winpe and Vistape
These errors happen both with Vistape and Winpe pretty much the same way

Downloaded all updates,
used Vista DVD as source for VistaPE
used Server 2003 sp2 CD as source for Winpe

I get a popup error that says "Error - Run,%ScriptFile,Variable"

VistaPE
where variable is the value changes as it moves along the modules
starts with "Error - Run,%ScriptFile,FInd-WimUtil"
then "Error - Run,%ScriptFile,MountVista"
moves along to other pieces and more errors of the same type pop up etc etc

WinPE
where variable is the value changes as it moves along the modules
starts with "Error - Run,%ScriptFile,FInd-BuildRestore"
then "Error - Run,%ScriptFile,Delete-iso"
moves along to other pieces and more errors of the same type pop up etc etc
when it is finished and boots up in QEMU it says:
*Booting from CD-ROM
*CDBOOT: Couldn't find NTLDR
*FATAL: INIT18 BOOT FAILURE
(See attached screen shot)

Booting on a Dell Optiplex 745
when im finaly done i burn the ISO, the grub menu comes up but after i select
:Vistape the screen looks garbled and nothing happens
:Winpe says couldn't find NTLDR

any suggestions?

The latest beta which does not have bigger issues is beta 5d
Beta 6 has the 'GUI changes not stored' feature.
And beta 7 shows what you report.

Yes, reading closely your log I would also agree that the issue comes directly from the RUN command.

This command was modified on this beta 7, I will test and correct it - thanks for posting the log and so many detailed informations. It really helps to retrace back your steps.. (IMG:http://www.boot-land.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)
