My PC has an OnBoard Intel 845G video processor.
Until today all trials to bring the 15 MB of the Intel driver to run in the PE (booted from burned CD) ended bad.
I had 640 * 480 pixels with 16 colors.
Today I made a new script with bearwindows's 19 kB driver.

And here the result:

Great, bearwindows (IMG:http://www.boot-land.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)

BTW The script can be download from the nativeEx server.

I delivered a new version of the script to the nativeEx server.

If you have a video card not yet included in the *.inf, you may try to add it
(No guarantee of success!)

I would love to see this driver in VistaPE too. Bearwindows, how can we convince you to think about Vista support?

NO WAY!!! NO VISTA SUPPORT IS PLANNED and visit http://badvista.fsf.org/

@bearwindows

If I understood the '8 colors' topic correctly, the input boxex in the script do not help to find an unknown card.
They only may show the name you gave your card.

If that is true, I'll remove this feature.

Youmayremoveit. By adding your vendor/device id's in vbemp.inf file you only helps system to NAME card as is NAMED in inf-file. That's all.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT VBEMP (all versions W2K/XP and higher)
QUOTE
If your card is working slowly with VBEMP installed, especially when moving windows and scrolling text you may improve it: go to Control Panel -> Display -> Settings tab -> Advanced button -> Troubleshooting tab and move Hardware acceleration slider to the left position (None).

BTW, today (june, 17) i release a new recent version of vbemp :):):):)

1) added feature to enable/disable monitor PNP detection via DDC channel.
2) fixed incompatibility with Microsoft VirtualPC 2004
3) NT 3.1 / NT 3.5 support is enabled.
4)EISAbusnowdetectscorrectly

also i renew my articles about Windows NT 3.x family here:
