a little program i made to make my life easier when dealing with POST ( power on self test) beep codes.

sometimes ive found myself in a position where the internet is not available to look up a code, so i coded them nin to an application for easy offline browsing.

simply click on the beep code pattern from the list, and a definition will be displayed in the bottom window telling you about the problem.

I think, h7se
Means
If you had a Preview sound of the beeps a user would press a Preview button that would play the = Sound sample made by machine.

Looks like a handy program. Starting with the most generic POST codes styles (IBM, AMI and Phoenix) makes sense.

Would be interesting if the user could input his current POST code and have the database come up with matches. Maybe even a motherboard drop-down list to filter the results.

Something like this:

[Asus A8N Deluxe[] [2 short[] [1 long[] [3 short[] [1 long[]

I had a coworker with an Intel server board that gave a series of 4 digits for it's POST errors.. quite annoying. Would have been handy to have this type of program available.

Nice idea and great work!

thats a good idea.... could code that with an update feature to download definition files as new motherboards are added etc.
