Can anyone shed some light on how to disable this Open File - Security Warning in VistaPE v12 RC1. I have successfully built numerous VPE builds using different configurations, yet each and everytime I try to execute a batch file from my build server, I am always getting prompted to RUN or CANCEL. What I would really like is to just be able to click on the shortcut to the batch files that I created in the BSExplorer and the batch job run. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!! biggrin.gif]>

Jumpy Mouse Cursor in VM http://www.boot-land.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=7141
I'm using VMWare Fusion on the Mac (built the ISO in Vista in a VM) and whenever I boot it, at first the mouse cursor is fine, tracks ok, no lag, doesn't jump. But at some point during the boot sequence the cursor starts to jump.

I tried an older ISO of a BartPE build I have that another guy in my department made in 2007 and I don't have these problems. Likewise I don't have any problems in Vista, Win 7, or XP in VMWare with or without the VMWare Tools being installed.

Also, I burned the ISO to CD and I don't have the problem on a physical machine. So I'm kind of at a loss as to what it could be. Any help?

Last log attached. For this particular build I decided to see if the XPE loader would make a difference, it didn't. In fact I saw explorer.exe constantly crashing & trying to reboot when I did. That's not so important as nailing down this cursor problem.]>

XP styles in PE http://www.boot-land.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=7136
- Has anyone done any research into this kinda thing?
- Has anyone any information on the topic he would like to share?
- Can anyone see potential problems, if the theming would kick in right from the start, without needing to be enabled?

PS: Does anyone know of a freeware way to skin the taskbar?]>

You can get the script via the WinBuilder download center from the nativeEx server, or directly here.

Peter

BTW: The script does not make much practical sence (A bit it does: You can define CMD in your PE. But what does it help ... Everybody can work with every style CMD .....). It is more a Tutorial, or HowTo]>
