Let's build the house starting with the basement rather than with the roof! But always we must have in mind how the roof should be made! ------------- Using BartPE or similar in WinBuilder is like Mounting wooden wheels onto a Ferrari

My Content
When I restarted my browser and logged in to bootland, ALL posts have been marked as unread.
EDIT: explained:
BTW: The Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 5228669 bytes) in /var/www/vhosts/boot-land.net/httpdocs/forums/sources/classes/class_display.php on line 557 occurred also when trying to read the reply of amalux.
Even it it may depend on my browser, good web servers can modify their output depending on the useragent. And Firefox is really not an exotic useragent.
Peter
Because the above subforum does not exist yet, I ask here:
Currently there is a small boxing discussion with Jaclaz Wonko about Firefox.
While I since long time use Firefox as alternity to IE, he suggests, rather that to use a "good" browser like Opera.
Because I do not know Opera at all, I want to ask the community about comparison between Firefox and Opera.
Maybe this topic is too 'Off-Bootland' and it seems not to be necessary to create the titled sub forum.
Peter
Another new strange appearance. When I try to access this post: http://www.boot-land.net/forums/index.php?...view=getnewpostI get the message: QUOTE Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 5228669 bytes) in /var/www/vhosts/boot-land.net/httpdocs/forums/sources/classes/class_display.php on line 557 The post has been sent to me correctly / completelly by e-mail. Peter
Since this morning I have troubles to reply and to write a new post.
I upgraded FireFox to 3.6.
I can since that only post when I in "My Controls" use "Standard Editor" instead of "Rich Text Editor".
Has somebody similar experience, or better: Please give me a hint how to come back to Rich Text Editor.
Peter
EDIT: When I start with "Standard Editor" and switch to "Rich Text Editor" in the upper rigth, it continues to work. In IE it works with default "Rich Text Editor"
Let me first explain some background:
Lancelot gave the bug report "Bug ID #240: wb078sp6 - tolerating quotes" where it came up that some errors are not published, but silently skipped. In (unpublished right now) WB 078 SP7 I fixed this.
And that gave a lot of error messages in the code generated by HoJoPE.exe.
All of these issues in HoJoPE.exe are fixed in "3 - hivesFactory.Script" version 70.
You can use it, even if you are working with WB SP6 and propably with RC2.
But please, test carefully, and report me any doubts!
Peter
