I have several versions of PE, Vista PE, Bart Pe etc booting off my network, including several scripts I have brewed myself. I have one problem, however, and that is I can't get the above PE Network to just grab DHCP for whatever adaptors it finds and keep going! I am using Joshua's Win7PE environment here.

Here is my config file:

[General]
AutoStartNet=Yes
PromptForProfile=no
ShowGUI=no

[NetProfiles]
Dynamic IP Address (DHCP)= penetcfg-dhcp.ini
Static IP Address (Manual)= penetcfg-static.ini

[NetAdapter1]
EnableDHCP=Yes
UseStaticGateway=no
UseStaticDNS=no
UseStaticWINS=No
IPAddress=
SubnetMask=
DefaultGateway=
DNSServer=

Anyone got a working one they can post?

I need no prompts, just a smooth log into PE with networking.

Joshua's Win7RescuePE project use PENetwork.exe
in the 'PENetwork Beta V5' script interface uncheck the checkbox
Network profiles: 'Use profiles on PENetwork startup'
in this case DHCP will be used

Joshua's Win7RescuePE topic is here:
http://www.boot-land.net/forums/index.php?...ost&p=84557

the config file what you mentioned is for a different tool
that is for PENetCfg.exe

anyway PENetwork has a nice Profile editor
reachable from the script interface clicking on the Network profiles: 'Start Editor' button

When I un-check the profiles box, I still get the menu coming up. I need this thing to go silent.
