Well, it doesn't work this way.

heliosys, while undoubtedly trying to help you smile.gif, gave you a totally unreferenced and "vague" advice.

Besides talking about grub, (which is NOT grub4dos) he specified (without in any way detailing wht he is using) that he has a working setup on a USB stick (which is NOT a DVD), hinting that the same (unspecified) setup should work from DVD.

Now a "normal" thread would have continued as follows:
QUOTE (fictional Balubeto Balubeto)
Thanks for the answer.
Could you detail what you are using and how?

OR:
QUOTE (fictional Balubeto Balubeto)
Thanks for the answer.
I will try asking on the grub4dos Forum, then.

AND (on the grub4dos Forum):
QUOTE (fictional Balubeto Balubeto)
Hello, people.
I was told here:

that grub grub4dos could be used to create a multiboot DVD containing a PE 2.1 and Vista SP1:
http://www.boot-land.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=8129

Is this accurate?

Where can I find a Tutorial or guide for this?

And to be more accurate ALSO something like this:
QUOTE (fictional Balubeto Balubeto)
I am trying to create a Multiboot DVD capable of installing several versions of Vista using SETUP.EXE.
I was told here that I need to boot a PE in order to run it:
http://www.boot-land.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=8077

Since I wasn't able to understand most of what was posted there, I abandoned that thread to start a new one, and also these ones on 911cd:
http://www.911cd.net/forums//index.php?sho...c=23046&hl=
http://www.911cd.net/forums//index.php?sho...c=23047&hl=
http://www.911cd.net/forums//index.php?sho...c=23051&hl=
http://www.911cd.net/forums//index.php?sho...c=23054&hl=
http://www.911cd.net/forums//index.php?sho...c=23059&hl=

And these on MSFN:
http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=134445&hl=
http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=134517&hl=
http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=134679&hl=

And God only knows on how many more Forums (Italian or International):
http://www.google.com/search?q=multiboot+dvd+balubeto

Please note how very few people replied to me and how, each time anyone replies I start a new thread on another board asking the same question, instead of trying to understand what the reply involves, asking related questions on the same thread and try following one suggested path.

Can any of you guys please help me by providing some more info on the matter?

Double posting is against the Rules of this board.

There is no Rule against posting same question on different boards, but it is not "smart".

You are actually "polluting" w00t.gif search engine results: anyone googling for something like Multiboot DVD Vista PE 2.1 will soon get tens of results of threads started by you and later abandoned or left unfinalized. scared9.gif.

As well, the "common sense advice" is not at all compulsory, but is there for a number of reasons, most of them related to make the user get the most easy and quick solution to a problem and to avoid annoying willing helping members.

Starting again at each step a new thread without giving any previous background reference is as well not at all forbidden, but definitely not "smart".

If you continue this way, it is very likely that your questions will be ignored or that you will start collecting incomplete, unuseful replies.
