This is a fun experience that ends up with a XP installation running under a 8Mhz CPU speed with as low as 20Mb RAM..

Who says that XP needs 512Mb of ram and a P4 to run well? laugh.gif

Way back in my great days I had a Super 7. smile.gif

233MHz Pentium MMX
ASUS P5A-B
64MB PC133
ATi Rage XL 8MB AGP
160W AT-Compatible

It would install and run XP without any problems. I'd like to know where you find an 8MHz CPU though. huh.gif

I still have some "very old" machines as well - including a 8 Mhz CPU laptop with 640Kb of RAM

The person who experimented with this clock speed mentioned the steps he took to slow down a pentium class machine.. smile.gif
