Hello sir,
First of all I would like to thank all those who are involved in this project.........
Really a very nice one indeed.

1. I would like to build an XP-SP2 CD which will boot from CD but run entirely from RAM.
2. So that if i want to take backup of my system or recover some files i can use my cd writter from which i booted.
3. There should be no resource limit & 24 Hour limit.
4. I would also like to know a few things about XP boot cd,
1.Is it possible to use any drive compressor like drvspace in Win98 & DOS.So it may reduce
the total size as the ramdisk will have a single compressed file only & we need not run UPX on all files.
2.Does XP have readymade ShellIconCache just like Win98 or it builds one at boot time by reading all the shortcuts & exe files as it may take time to boot.

I am not an expert like you all are but curious about knowing....

Can you publish/supply me a script file along with the neccessory dependency files so that i could build it easily without any resource limit(presently i am not able to open even two explorers together).Also can you email me the required dependency file RAMDISK.SYS & etc so that i could build
a Ramed version of the XP(The windows 2003 service pack 2 file is so big that i cannot download).

Welcome to boot land proton!

You can use my script here to boot from ram using xp.This requires to have ramdisk.sys and setupldr.bin.

In order to remove the resource limit you can use zh_base which includes nu2shell.exe
I'm going to send now an email with the files you want.

Resource Limit is finally removed successfully

I have used PELoader to remove the resource limit.Use the given explorer script(Modified for resource limit removal).The ZIP file contains explorer.script downloaded from bootland & PEloader.exe downloaded from somewhere else.I have uploaded this file without the respective authors permission.I hope they will forgive me....

Hi proton. I dont know how to use the Script and the file PELoader.exe you included.

You should check out this other thread for MiscSettings from Holger. Its a better and easier way to fix the Resource Limit. You can use the PELoader with that script. You can post at the other 911 forum telling the author that its working for you or something similar. Since it is a beta, he will like to know.
