Hi gxp,

I've followed your instruction exactly.
boot.wim = 141mb
pe.bif = 4kb
Unfortunately, boot I/O error 09 while testing in both PCs.
Tested with Beta 6956.iso.

Edited::
Sorry gxp, it is my mistake. Now it is booting very well. This error occurs because my folder name is "sources" instead of "SOURCES" which is very different in PE build.

Many thanks.

As for me, I don't delete the setup file in boot.wim. tongue.gif
Then I can get System Recovery Options Page UI.
From that page I can go System Restore, System Image Recovery, Windows Memory Diagnostic or finally Command Prompt.

Good for me, but for others, as they wish. rolleyes.gif

Updated:: Modified PE.
I've just put Q-Dir filemanager + some portable software in it. And then I deleted unused folders (Other Languages in Windows\System32 folder)saved 29mb.
After all, I can manage Modified PE with Q-Dir Filemanager and most portable apps(WinRar,Ghost, ect,.) are working very well. rolleyes.gif

Hope you can do more than that. cool.gif

Hi All,

Here is another screen shot with Q-DIR file manager.
I won't use Start Menu, networking, audio and video yet.
As you see many are well running in it.
If I've spare enough time, I'll try to test network to work.
Welcome any idea.
