Hi

---------------SOLVED-----------

Actually i forget what i was write but an easy way to explain is that i want a rescue CD ; have several rescue cd's can say over 20 from and each are different in use; some for hacking, some for daily use or mostly for repair and recovery but they most outdated, so i want to one new for the main of recovery and maintenance. And ask members here what task and programs are YOU using as maintenance/repair and recovery. But now i didn't need anymore, have my collection in my mind before and using it further.

Thank's

Put programs you know how to use biggrin.gif biggrin.gif .

and if you have time, spend some time to learn others.
Tip: There is launch button (when available) on scripts in order to check to see how the program works.

Amalux's ready packages are always very nice thumbup.gif
Also there is portable application collection on his page. thumbup.gif
I guess you already downloaded LiveXP Complete thumbup.gif
and since you already know "App Scripts" section thumbup.gif nothing to say more, have fun when learning cheers.gif

btw, answers here already exists in my signature post #1 too, you are currently at step 5 happy22.gif

May I give one hint how to work here:

Even if you wrote nonsence (which you did not!) in the first post:

Please do not overwrite the post by 'Topic closed'!

Thanks!

@m4dm4Xz
I %120 fully agree with psc

Please rewrite your old post#1 as well as topic title (and subtitle) tooo, (as much as you remember).

And a request (question) to you:

So far I look around, there is no XP Thai (there is no service pack for it wink.gif ), I guess you use XP english (maybe UK) with mui packed (more info below).

question is, how you install your windows xp freshly ? (and what is the sp version of this xp on CD?)
1) you install XP English, than you install Thai Mui pack and change interface to Thai
2) you install "XP English pre Mui Packed"

If you can give details, maybe there already exists nice things which you may get interested cheers.gif .

Mui pack more info:
On your XP, Check,
Control Panel->Regional and Language Options->Languages->

Normally there are 2 menus there,
"Text services and input languages"
and
"Supplemental language support"

If you have a mui Thai windows, there will be an additional 3rd menu
"Language used in menus and dialogs"

And i guess you would me to prepare a language locale adding like your ones for thai and to support thai files.
However, i have several hostOs that was installed with original sourceCD service pack 2 and 3, both are without MUI-Pack and set these settings while installing windows :
1) "Standards and formats" as Thai
2) "Location" to Thai
3) "Install files for complex script and right-to-left language(including Thai)" > checked
4) "Install files for East Asian Language" > checked; actually i didn't need this for Thai but checked this is good when i for surfing in China-Website and Japanise-Website.
5) "Language for non-Unicode programs" as Thai

Hi m4dm4Xz,

First of all, thanks a lot for reverting things back thumbup.gif

But billy do not provide XP service pack for Thai here frusty.gif frusty.gif I guess I am missing something merc.gif

So you say at
Control Panel->Regional and Language Options->Languages->
There is not
"Language used in menus and dialogs"

ps: If mui installed, there is a 3rd menu on the picture at the bottom saying "Language used in menus and dialogs".

ps: can you send the menu picture you get, you can use http://www.imageshack.us/ wink.gif

And i guess you would me to prepare a language locale adding like your ones for thai and to support thai files.
More precisely: I work on a General Keyboard Script that supports all available keyboards.

Script structure mostly ready (Preparing in a way that when new users come we can quickly expand the script with support), and so far I find out ways to add all standart languages as well as keyboards of "complex script and right-to-left language(including Thai)" (well honestly I tested only 'Thai Kedmanee' so far wink.gif) , but I need to learn more and need some time (1 or 2 weeks) to finalize the script. Well besides everything (which I learn everyday more), I do not know how people who use non standart keyboard use keyboard on their windows. Here on Turkish Q keyboard, since it is mostly same with US keyboard, most Turks use TurkishQ single keyboard. (I guess same with German, French etc. too). I need end user support to figure out how.

Some good news with other questions:
Since I do not have a Thai XP or Thai language experience, I need help, Here is a picture where I write on notepad with both thai and turkish keyboard

Some questions:
1) Is Thai font size correct ?!?!? I can get it smaller if smaller is the right one (here on my windows it shows smaller but I am not sure)
2) Is 'Thai Kedmanee' the keyboard you use ? (so we can make future tests easier)
3) On normal windows, when you first startup your pc, is Thai keyboard starts as defaut ? (or english etc.. and if multiple keyboards involved what is the default setting for Thai)

Truely, my main goal is not definately Install keyboard, but "Install files for East Asian Language" "Install files for complex script and right-to-left language(including Thai)" optimizing with country (to get smaller LiveXP as possible).

As a result, users can access files with their languages when booted LiveXP for a rescue operation. (this sometimes cause troubles, I guess you know that).
After having such a support, adding keyboard is very easy.

ps: funny but this all started me preparing LiveXP with Turkish Q and Turkish F keyboards support for my retirement operation, but goal expanded so far nicely smile.gif

You're right, and I'm sorry for not cleared enough. The sourceCD that i used, was a original SP2 and SP3 professional and as far as i know it's an english version. Also there was a MUI-pack standalone-downloadable for Thai but i didn't use any MUI-packs there was only settings while the installing, that i did.

Right, there doesn't exist 3rd menu option like i sayed i didn't use any MUI-Packs. wink.gif

I need end user support to figure out how.

I will do my best and all required information that you need, i will give you.
Actually i 'm want to something in this way before but not so deeply like you since you invited me to make an Thai support. wink.gif

Actually i didn't noticed the original size. But can install a fresh windows on VMware to test it. However, it's readable like normal.

Yes, it is "Thai Kedmanee".

No, it's in english and the most Thai-users set english as default and switch to Thai with a shortkey. The shortkey in most cases is set with this "`" or called "GraveAccent". A little about "GraveAccent" if you don't know this "GraveAccent" (option) appear after installing or checking and apply "Install files for complex script and right-to-left language(including Thai)". (if don't understand this part ask about this)

For more clear, here the pictures. wink.gif
These picture from "regional and options" settings.

And these from "Text Services and Input Languages". (also keyboard settings)

Thanks a looooooooot m4dm4Xz,

now all more clear, your hostos is XPEng with Language supportS for Thai. (I did that virtually here too wink.gif)

I already put "GraveAccent" key support when I first start this script thumbup.gif

now all I need is time to finalize things, I will post here for tests or pm you in maximum 2 weeks, because I currently spend most of my free time to psc for tests and rest to this script cheers.gif
