There are several scripts checking and (if necessary) delivering atl.dll.

But it should be copied surely in Explorer.script which in LiveXP IMHO is allways activated.

I always get this message (sorry, but it's in German):

After building an iso file, I got the following log:

What am I doing wrong?

As you can see from the warnings in the log:

The official WinBuilder version to run LiveXP is WB 077 RC2.

If you use a different version, maybe some things are going wrong.

#2: I'll check BuildModel / resShort whether to add atl.dll

Using 0.77RC2 doesn't make any difference. The error is still the same. sad.gif

Try the attached BuildModel.Script and replace that one you have.

You find it here:

Hi flansch,

I found the reason and I guess in a shortwhile (I mean today) it will be fixed or a workaround will be produced, you will be informed, for now drink your tea thumbup.gif .

meanwhile, your build-log-settings is really weird to me wink.gif

Hi flansch,

Follow this:
*
open "..\Projects\LiveXP\Components\Core\1 System\Network\" folder
*
delete PENetwork.script file
*
than on winbuilder, at right top, click download, and get new PENetwork.script from LiveXP server.
with your build settings the issue will not happen anymore.

More:
neither psc nor me can reproduce resshort.exe error you get. we do not know what triggers resshort error screen but somehow having atl.dll on system32 fixes.
This incident made me found missing atl.dll in PENetwork.script which is fixed now. As a result atl.dll will be on your system32 when PENetwork selected (with your custom settings) which is in your builds.

And a small comment:
sata script is not a trustable script, it is there for historic reasons and to give some ideas to new users, I advice you to use one of dps scripts for mass storage support.

Reminding old question:
I have not get an answer for the .reg method question written here at post 11
