Hi All,

I try TFTPD32 (v3.23 Build June 2 2007) to use for booting our IP-Phones. We need DHCP option 43 with 11 Bytes.

tftpd32.ini shows:

[DHCP]
.
.
AddOptionNumber 1=43
AddOptionValue1=0xFFA41F020465C61EAC0403
AddOptionNumber 224
AddOptionValue2=OpenPhone
.
.

Looking on the ethernet port with the sniffer Packetyzer shows that only 4 bytes are transfered.

2B 04 03 04 AC 1E E0 09 4F 70 65 64 50 68 6F 6E 65
!----------------! !-------------------------------!
Option 43 Option 224 "OpenPhone"
0x03 0x04 0xAC 0x1E

How can I force TFTPD32 to send all 11 Bytes? Or does it really is able to send max. 4 bytes for binary option values?

Jochen

I've been trying to get something similar to the linux dhcpd

option vendor-encapsulated-options
6e:04:c0:a8:0d:d8:
75:04:c0:a8:0d:d8:
76:04:c0:a8:0d:d8:
c8:04:c0:a8:0d:d8:
cb:04:c0:a8:0d:d8:
cc:04:c0:a8:0d:d8;

I have the same limit. The only thing I found out was that by putting option 2, I could get the unit to read the next option number as part of the option 43. But in my case, the string is too long.

Except for this little limit, this program is awesome !
